Covens of the Blackwood witch Troops

The Swamp Witches form the relentless, fanatic spine of the Coven of the Black Woods. Mud-caked and shrouded in moss-draped rags, these eight rank-and-file practitioners walk through poison-choked waters with unnatural ease. Combining brutal, close-quarters trench warfare with volatile folk sorcery, they march alongside rusted bayonets and sawed-off shotguns while whispering vile, hex-laden incantations. Individually terrifying, as a collective squad they pool their dark blood magic to turn the very battlefield into a rotting, suffocating grave for their enemies.
